Magadzavane Lodge

In August 2009 the ENTC, through the assistance of the government of Eswatini and the Republic of China on Taiwan, completed the construction of the Tourism Resort herein refer to as Magadzavane Tourism Complex. It was officially opened by His Majesty King Mswati III in April 2012.

Magadzavane Lodge is located at Mlawula Nature Reserve along Mhlumeni Road, which provides excellent views of natural vegetation as well as sights of world renowned fauna and flora, game, and bird species. We are conveniently located 15 minutes drive from Siteki town and situated next to the road which works for our advantage in terms of access.

Our main aim is to provide a conducive spot for our customers to take a break from their various busy schedule, to a place where they can find comfort and luxury, the sight of game and nature is another guest experience. With our service, guests will encounter a warm welcome and comfortable home away from home experience.

Services offered at the complex include: accommodation (20 chalets), all beverages (alcoholic, non-alcoholic), Ala-carte, buffet and set menus, swimming pool, laundry services, picnic and camping(Sara campsite, Siphiso picnic site, Mapelepele cottage), hiking trails. We also offer WI-FI to our guests to enable our guests surf the internet with their laptop. Magadzavane Lodge offers a thatched rondavel conference facility which accommodates 80 delegates.


At the lodge, we will ensure that that our guests leave with an unforgettable experience that will make them want to come back as well as recommend our establishment to their friends, family members and business partners. These are the services and amenities that will be made available to our guests;

  • Accommodation, 20 chalets which four are reserved for self-catering and the remaining 16 are sold on bed and breakfast basis. Each chalet accommodates four people. The chalets has a private bathroom and is furnished in an African contemporary style. The self-catering facilities include a full DSTV, refrigerator, two plate guest stove, crokery, cutlery, as well as tea/coffee amenities. The bed and breakfast chalets offers the same amenities except the two-plate guest stove, crokery and cutlery. The chalets have been carefully positioned apart from each other in order to give each of the guests a much desired space.
  • Restaurant and Bar which offers a variety of dishes that appeals to anyone’s taste. Meals offered include scrumptious breakfast buffet for large groups but otherwise a-la-carte menu incorporating local, Portuguese and international cuisine. The restaurant is opened daily from 06h30 to 22h00 whilst the bar opens at 11h00 to 22h00.
  • Thatched rondavel conference facility which accommodates up to 80 delegates. The conference facility is equipped with furniture and has high speed Wi-Fi connection which makes conferencing convenient at Magadzavane. The facility is located a distance away from the nearest town which guarantees that delegates will focus on the workshop.
  • Other facilities available include a swimming pool, internet connection and laundry facilities. Guests also have a pleasure of driving, cycling or walking into Mlawula Nature Reserve where they will enjoy bird viewing, game viewing while soaking in the natural beauty of the reserve.
