About project

The Mbuluzi Ecosystems Restoration Project is a nationally executed initiative under the Eswatini National Trust Commission, supported by the Global Environment Facility and implemented through the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The project addresses the growing environmental challenges facing the Mbuluzi River Basin — one of Eswatini’s five major river systems and a critical transboundary ecosystem shared with Mozambique.
